Here’s a step-by-step guide to getting athletes registered at Gila Ridge:
Step 1: Go to Register My Athlete and then select My School Login
Step 2: Select Arizona
Step 3: Select Gila Ridge
Step 4: Create an Account (or Login if you have already done so)
Step 5: Add a new athlete. This can be done by clicking the “My Athlete” tab on the left-hand side of the page or by clicking “Add Athlete” under the “My Athletes” tab. This only needs to be done once during your athlete’s entire career at a school. The information entered here will carry over from year to year and includes contact and medical information. After successfully adding an athlete, you will see their Profile Page which summarizes their information and involvement.
Step 6: Click “Register For A Sport” to begin registration. You will be asked to choose which sport your athlete is registering for. From here, the registration checklist will show you what needs to be done. There are 7 required documents (8 for transfer students). If you need any assistance you may contact the school at (928) 502-6400 and ask for Ms. Alvarez in the Athletics Office. She is a phenomenal source of knowledge!
Step 7: All athletes (except Chess players) must have a current physical examination completed prior to participation in practice or competitions. Physicals may be obtained through many local medical providers including Pinnacle Healthcare at 4343 E 31st Pl.
Step 8: Bring a copy of the athlete’s completed physical to Ms. Alvarez in the Athletics Office. She will then check all of the information online and issue the student a pink copy of their Athletic Clearance Card (commonly called the “pink slip”).
Step 9: The athlete must give this pink slip to his or her coach before participating in any practices or competitions.
